Our Colombia Supremo 17/18 is from the Huila region. This area is full of microclimates and volcanic, mineral rich soil that leads to coffees that are juicy, fruity, complex and with a rich, full body. This Huila is a classic example of that profile. The body is heavy, with deep dark coco tones, maple-like sweetness, and citrus reminiscent of candied orange.
We roast this a little darker than most of our coffees, but broadly speaking it's closer to a medium roast. Development is gentle enough to maintain all the juiciness and acidity, and is supported by deep chocolate and marzipan tones. If you want something that feels a little darker but still pops with brightness and juiciness, this is it.
